Development Update Feb '24

Stage 1 Civil Works are now complete! Although roads are not yet open to the public, builders are gearing up to commence construction in the coming months.

Within the reserve space, the Wetland Basin is taking shape with the feature stonework also now completed. The installation of the filtration system is now in progress, the footpaths are 80% complete, as well as the landscaping of the verges along St Clair Avenue.

Stage 2 Civil Works are continuing and have seen the light poles go up and kerb works are now in progress. Common Services trenches have commenced following the kerb installation. The forecasted completion for Stage 2 is April.

Current NBL1 players coached the session, and it was a fantastic morning filled with fun and skills in a safe, community-focused environment. We look forward to partnering with the Woodville Warriors in the future.

The History of Woodville Road

Woodville Road has a rich history, dating back to 1839, with the first building recorded as an inn named the "Halfway House", as the Woodville area was the hallway meeting point between the Adelaide CBD and Port Adelaide.
