Garden Gems - Landscaping Competition

The competition is open for a limited time. The competition commences at 9:00AM ACST on 1st February 2024 and ends at 5:00PM ACST on 31st March 2024 (competition Period).

It is a condition of all competition winners to agree to be photographed, interviewed, or filmed by or on behalf of Peet and accept winner signs to be displayed in the front yard / verge for a period of 4 weeks.

Only 1 winner per allotment at Bluestone, Mt Barker is eligible to be deemed a winner.
 
A Competition winner will be chosen each month based on the following criteria.

Best overall front garden landscaping & verge maintenance or most improved front garden landscaping & verge maintenance

The winners will be judged by Peet representatives on site and winning residents will be approached by a Peet representative to ask if they would like to accept the prize and accompanying conditions. If a winner does not accept the prize, a secondary winner will be chosen.

Peet will notify winners at the end of each month via a visit or the phone number registered originally to Peet when contracted.
Eligible winners have 7 days to respond before an alternate winner is selected by Peet.
 
2 Winners of the competition will each receive a $500 Woolworths Gift Voucher – total value of all prizes is $1,000.
The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
If the prize or any elements of the prize expires, becomes unavailable or is lost for reasons beyond Peet’s control – winners will not be entitled to any additional compensation.
 
Peet reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine eligible winners and change eligible winners at any time for any reason.
Eligible winners forfeit all rights to receiving the prize or participating in the competition if an eligible winner does not comply with any of these terms and conditions.
 
Peet reserves the right to remove or disqualify any competition winner from the competition if Peet, in its absolute discretion, deems that the winner’s continued involvement in the competition will (in any way) negatively impact on the success of the competition and/or negatively influence the general purpose of the competition. No correspondence will necessarily be entered into with the winner in this case. 

 

FIRST HOME OWNERS GRANT

The First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) scheme was introduced on 1 July 2000 to offset the effect of the GST on home ownership. It is a national scheme funded by the states and territories and administered under their own legislation. Under the scheme, a one-off grant is payable to first home owners that satisfy all the eligibility criteria.
