Bluestone Christmas Celebration 2024

The lawns of Parkindula Homestead came alive with festive cheer for the 2024 Residents' Christmas Party, where hundreds of locals gathered to celebrate the season together.

The Eastern Mavericks Basketball Club fired up the BBQ for a free sausage sizzle and drinks, while soft serve sherbet and 100s & 1000s soft-serve cones were also very popular. The petting zoo provided plenty of entertainment with lambs, goats, an alpaca, rabbits, ducks and chickens. The pigeons seemed to be very comfortable on top of kids heads! There was also face painting that the kids loved.

The evening's highlight was the arrival of Father Christmas, accompanied by his cheerful Elf. Children excitedly queued to share their Christmas wishes, receiving lollies and small gifts.

Bluestone, Mt Barker’s Christmas celebration is always a wonderful celebration of community spirit, showcasing the joy of coming together as neighbours.
