Gates are open at Nudgee Recreation Reserve

Construction works are now complete at Nudgee Recreation Reserve with the clubhouse and public toilets now open.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner, Football Queensland CEO Robert Cavallucci and Councillor for Northgate Adam Allan officially opened the new Nudgee Recreation Reserve on 9 December 2023.

The reserve will be home to Football Queensland’s new north Brisbane facilities, including playing field, a clubhouse and community spaces. The 12.7-hectare reserve also includes multi-use sports fields, a BMX pump track, playground, dog off-leash area and a suite of recreational facilities.

Local community is welcomed to enjoy the newly upgraded park while works continued on the new clubhouse for Football Queensland.

Little Eagle Nudgee will be built on the site where historical army warehouses that were originally built during World War II once stood. The warehouses have now been removed and the site remediated. Services and roads are being constructed at the moment and new home building will begin in 2022. We look forward to welcoming many of you to the new Little Eagle in Nudgee over the coming years.
