CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
So far, 2021 has been Tonsley Village’s biggest year yet. Due in part to the recent Federal Government’s Home Builder grant – Tonsley has had a record start to the year for sales and new residents moving in.
This has accelerated works, with stage 10A1 recently completing, 10A2 due to finish end of July, and 10B commencing shortly. As we progress through 2021, Tonsley Village will continue growing into a mature community with opportunities for new retail and amenity.
Arête Apartments
Our 6th apartment to commence construction at Tonsley Village. The Arête Apartments are the first apartment pod to showcase 6 levels. Now 50% sold before construction commencement, the Arête Apartments will represent low maintenance and sophisticated lifestyle that rises above anything else. Buildtec has now officially begun construction on site.
All new projects, unfortunately, require the need for temporary use of off-street parking. We urge current residents to please use their off-street parking for its intended use to help free up off-street parks where available during this time. As a temporary measure, we will be implementing additional visitor parking west of Pod 3 to nearby residents.

Sold out. Purchasers will be able to move into their new apartment late April.

Sold out. Construction due for completion in June.

Tonsley Northern Connection Public Consultation
Peet and Renewal SA’s shared vision for Tonsley Village as an innovation district for retail, employment, and living is now coming to life.
To fully deliver this vision and integrate Tonsley Village as part of the broader community, the City of Marion is currently undertaking public consultation on a proposed new northern road and pedestrian link connecting Tonsley Village to Clovelly Park. With this new vehicle and pedestrian access, increased public accessibility to Tonsley facilities including employment, education, retail, and open spaces will further facilitate business and retail investment in Tonsley to create a vibrant new retail centre.
FLINDERS GREENWAY
The Greenway will facilitate linkages and connections to the already established open space network outside of Tonsley as well as forming part of the broader walking and cycling network.
TONSLEY VILLAGE GREEN
Plans for the new Tonsley Village Green are well advanced and awaiting final approval from the City of Marion. Watch this space over the next few months with work scheduled to commence soon. Plans for the recreational and play equipment located in the Tonsley Village Green are expected to be finalised later this year with an opportunity for the community to consult.
