Burns Beach’s popular ‘pirate park’ – more officially known as McIntyre Park – played host to another successful picnic and movie night on Saturday 12 November.
Residents, friends and children rugged up warm before gathering on the lawn for a picnic as they settled in to wait for sunset and screening of this year’s comedy movie Parental Guidance starring Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei and Tom Everett Scott.
It is the second year in a row that Burns Beach Estate has sponsored Kidzucate – a registered harm prevention charity – to run a movie-in-the-park night at McIntyre Park.
Kidzucate is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers which aims to educate children about bullying and prevention of abuse.
