Family fun and automotive thrills as thousands flock to Flagstone for our SuperCARnival!
Our much-loved SuperCARnival was a roaring success, with more than 3,000 people from far and wide speeding into Flagstone.
Arguably the biggest event on our social calendar, this year’s event delivered a feast of automotive excellence for rev heads everywhere.
Rolling into the community ahead of the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, which is sponsored by Peet, this much-loved event was also a great afternoon out for the whole family.
Although almost half of attendees were Flagstonians, the day attracted plenty of visitors from Logan, Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast and even interstate.
Car enthusiasts got to rub shoulders their favourite V8 drivers, including Nick Percet and Aaron Love who signed autographs and chatted all things racing. Fresh off the Bathurst track, the drivers even competed against one another on the racing simulator.
Elsewhere, people explored the epic shiny machines on display and admired the amazing craftmanship and quality of the cars.
Thrill seekers loved the simulator hot seat, slot car racing, go-karts, and the chance to take a ‘super lap’ in the official Subaru WRX Race Control Car, while families took advantage of the entertainment and water play park for the kids.
With former Hi-5 entertainer Charli Robinson stationed as MC for the day, and the B105 street team out and about with free giveaways, there was plenty going on for everyone.
Craig Dontas, Head of Sales and Sponsorship at Supercars Australia said it was a rip-roaring day for people of all ages.
“The SuperCARnival is always a day of automotive thills coupled with family fun and this year was no exception,” he said.“
Over three consecutive years, our partnership with the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 has brought Flagstone residents together, showcased what we have to offer and inspired a shared love of motorsports.
“It was fantastic to see so many friendly faces out and about in the community as well as welcoming new people in. “It’s our hope the event will remain a highlight on the local calendar and continue to bring the community together for years to come.”
If these pictures are anything to go by, a wheely great time was had by all – roll on next year!
