Three, two, one…cheers!
Flagstone Tavern is now officially open for business and fast becoming a centrepiece of our vibrant community.
The team has been hard at work meeting and greeting residents as they pop in for a meal, a beverage, and a good old fashioned chin wag.
With its large indoor and outdoor bars and dining areas, a sports bar, gaming lounge and child-friendly play areas, our family friendly pub has something for all ages. There’s even live music, and a bottle shop open every day from 10am to 10pm.
This much-needed watering hole, on Homestead Drive, has a key role to play in community cohesion, acting as a meeting point and hub for locals to meet and engage with each other.
Not only will the Tavern function as a physical incubator to foster engagement and involvement among the community, it will also create jobs for local people and local suppliers.
It’s also a great place to host a special event, with ample function spaces and options to cater for any occasion.
The passionate team is dedicated to helping you create the celebration of your dreams and is here to bring your visions to life – taking pride in the finer details to ensure the perfect event!
With plenty of patrons through the doors, there is no shortage of positive reviews online. Norman Sillay was very happy with his recent visit and described the service as “excellent”.
He said: “We took my dad in for lunch, the food was absolutely awesome. Dad had the bangers and mash senior meal and enjoyed it.
“We had a game of pool and a nice cold beer.”
Craig Mills was also impressed.
“My wife and I moved into the neighbourhood a couple of months ago and were very excited to see a Tavern being built,” he said.
“Thought we'd check it out after eagerly awaiting it's opening and I must say we are pretty impressed. Great food, great service and great atmosphere.”
Jason Grant was pleased to find the beer cold and the staff friendly, adding: “Had dinner with my son and daughter the other night. Food was great and so was the atmosphere. Very big open spaces with plenty of tellys to watch the footy and keep an eye out on the Keno.”
A spokesperson for the Tavern said the team was looking forward to welcoming more people in coming weeks.
“Our mission is to be a pub that everyone can be proud of,” he said.
“We cannot wait to be the place that holds a million of your memories within its walls.”
