Conquer Mental Health Talk
Peet Flagstone in partnership with Black Dog Institute has secured a Mental Health Guest Speaker - Geoff Robins to share his mental health journey at the next Flagstone Community Association and Flagstone Men's Shed general meeting. All residents are welcome to come along listen to Geoff's story and source materials and some guideance if you would like to access any relevant services.

Black Dog Institute partnership and affiliation with Peet to benefit the Flagstone community.
In 2022, Peet announced a three-year partnership with the Black Dog Institute, an independent not-for-profit medical research institute delivering research to help treat, manage and prevent mental illness.
Peet has a long history of supporting charities and organisations that provide a positive social impact in the community and can make a meaningful difference
for our residents and our team. With 1 in 5 Australians experiencing symptoms of mental illness in any given year, the research and programs that Black Dog Institute delivers are vital in understanding, preventing and treating mental illness in the community.
Peet’s commitment to Black Dog Institute is through funding its Future Proofing Study, which aims to prevent depression and anxiety in young people. Through
workplace education, Peet staff learn how to understand and recognise the triggers of mental health, providing them with the tools to have open conversations and assist with help-seeking resources. This commitment extends to residents living in Peet communities through community education programs.
This partnership reinforces Peet’s commitment to creating places that provide a sense of belonging and the role community connection and support can have
on an individual’s mental health.
