On October 31st, the Bluestone Mt Barker community came alive with the Halloween spirit, as residents of all ages enjoyed the Bluestone Trick or Treat Trail.
Parkindula Homestead served as the heart of the festivities, welcoming over 300 excited children and adults, all dressed to impress in their favourite costumes. It was an evening filled with fun, treats, and plenty of laughter. Those that dared were given a map to follow, visiting the Guardian Childcare & Education Mt Barker and some generous neighbours who all hosted fabulously decorated trail stations, treating all the characters who walked the streets.
Free face painting added to the excitement, allowing kids and even a few enthusiastic adults to fully embrace their spooky alter egos, that included many vampires, friendly ghosts and lots of cute pumpkins. Prizes were given out to the best dressed family, boy and girl, and it was a very hard decision to choose the winners!
The Bluestone, Mt Barker Halloween event was a heart warming display of our community spirit, and a reminder of the importance of coming together in our neighbourhood. Bluestone is a truly special place to call home.
